Would you like to learn how the AQ/Art Quake prints were made? Would you like to make your own prints, notecards or posters? Come to Five Myles Gallery in Brooklyn this Saturday, January 7th, 1pm, for an introduction to this fun technique! All ages are welcome. This workshop is being led by artists Rejin Leys and Anderson Ambroise.
Consider an original fine art print as a gift and help the artists of Haiti. AQ/Art Quake is a group of 10 internationally known artists who have contributed to a portfolio of original contemporary prints available for collection. Art Quake honors Haiti's history in artistic leadership and addresses the impact of the January 12, 2010 earthquake on the nation's visual art community. Read the project brochure. Sales Price: The portfolio of ten original prints is available for $ 1,500. Proceeds to benefit artists of Kolektif Atis Jakmèl (KOLAJ).
