Today, on the 114th Birthday of JOSEPHINE BAKER,

I am pleased to announce ANTHONY SMITH, 

Executive Director of Lincoln Park Coast Cultural District,

will be spearheading my JOSEPHINE BAKER EXHIBIT 

in his beloved NEWARK, NEW JERSEY. This will be the 2nd 

historic exhibit since 1925, the 1st exhibit was presented

in HARLEM at the legendary ALHAMBRA BALLROOM

under the Creative Direction of CYNTHIA MCCOY.

As Executive Director, ANTHONY develops and manages

community partnerships; oversees and facilitates engagement

and involvement of residents in the Lincoln Park community, 

concentrating on areas aimed towards improvement of 

environmental, social, ARTISTIC, business and public services

for the area. Anthony cultivates relationships with the public

and private sectors to garner financial support that is essential

to to organization's role, as an ART DEVELOPER.

I am honored to have this extraordinary individual 

at the helm of the exhibit, projected to occur in 2021,

given the circumstances of the pandemic. It could be a year

from now in the proximity of JOSEPINE'S birthday or 

after Labor Day, the prime season for cultural events.
