Hundreds of dealers and thousands of attendees will once again gather at the Paris Hotel and Casino for the 19th Annual Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show. Held May 28-31, the trade-only event is managed by world leading show producer, U.S. Antique Shows.
“Last year, our show proved the increasing interest and importance of antique, estate and vintage jewelry with attendance increasing by 11 percent cumulatively despite tightened registration criteria for those wishing to attend,” says Dan Darby, Emerald Expositions vice president and U.S. Antique Shows general manager. “We’re very excited for this year’s event and are anticipating another increase in overall attendance as new exhibitors have been added to complement the list of well-known dealers. Attendees can again expect to see merchandise not previously available in this marketplace.”
The Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show features the finest quality of antique jewelry and watches in the nation. Items displayed on the show floor include beautiful gemstone and diamond jewelry, retro watches, unique brooches, flora and fauna statement pieces, chandelier earrings, and more. The merchandise ranges from the Renaissance to Modern periods. In addition, elegant signed pieces from famous names including Cartier, Tiffany’s, David Webb, Harry Winston, Patek Philippe, Van Cleef & Arpels, and many others will be available.
Jewelry dealer Paul Haig of Haig’s of Rochester is excited about returning to the show after a long absence. “I have decided to return to the Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show because when I analyzed which shows had been the best shows based on costs to profits, Vegas was strong. The show has the largest group of jewelry dealers in the U.S., allowing me the ability to acquire new merchandise as well as attend associated shows running concurrently in Vegas. I also received a good number of calls from my regular customers asking me why I didn’t exhibit and that they missed buying from me at the show. For these reasons, I’m back on board!”
The Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show also continues to bring staple dealers back year after year. Joe Murawski of Joden World Resources is one of those dealers and he will be presenting a variety of merchandise he recently acquired at the 2015 show. He shared that he will be showcasing two incredibly rare pieces – an original 1870’s Carlo Giuliano bar brooch with a cabochon chrysoberyl, natural pearls and black and white enamel as well as a 1940’s convertible bangle with an aquamarine, twelve cabochon rubies and nine diamonds. Both pieces will be at the Joden World Resources Booth 1508.
Registration is now open for the jewelry trade only. Pre-registration is $30, on-site is $50 for all four days. The show opens one day before JCK Las Vegas Show. The Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show times are Thursday, May 28 to Saturday, May 30 from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. and Sunday, May 31 from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. For more information about the show, call 239.732.6642 or visit www.VegasAntiqueJewelry.com.
