The Pizzuti Collection is pleased to announce our summer show This Just In: New Acquisitions (July 1 – August 15, 2015), a dynamic exhibition of twelve newly acquired works from the collection of Ron and Ann Pizzuti. These stunning paintings, sculptures, videos, and photographs reflect the Pizzuti’s most recent interests as collectors and puts on view their passionate eye for new work by a fascinating mix of emerging and established artists from across the United States, Japan, Israel, and Sweden.

The works run the gamut from large-scale abstract painting to dramatic furniture design to dreamlike figurative paintings of landscapes. We are especially excited to show Ori Gersht’s latest video work from his January 2015 show at CRG Gallery in New York as well as one of Alec Soth’s brilliant photographs from the profoundly beautiful Songbook series. This Just In: New Acquisitions brings some of the most lauded contemporary art to Columbus, giving our community an inside view into the global art scene’s present moment.

Artists include: Glen Baldridge, Wendell Castle, Julia Chiang, Nogah Engler, Sara-Vide Ericson, Kim Fisher, Ori Gersht, Caitlin Keogh, Alec Soth, Kazuki Umezawa, and Artie Vierkamt.

The opening of This Just In: New Acquisitions coincides with new hours for the Pizzuti Collection. Starting in July, the Pizzuti Collection will be open Tuesday – Saturday 11:00AM - 5:00PM. The extended hours offer visitors additional opportunities to view the exhibitions and experience all that the Pizzuti Collection has to offer.
