JONATHAN BOOS, New York will present a group exhibition at 801 Madison Avenue in collaboration with PETER FETTERMAN GALLERY, Santa Monica…

“Juxtaposed: Paintings, Sculpture & Photography” will run from October 1 through October 31, 2014. The exhibition will curate 20th century works from both galleries; masterfully juxtaposing thirty-four artists to highlight how similar meaning is created via different mediums.

Painters and Sculptors represented include: Benny Andrews, Harry Bertoia, Charles Biederman, Peter Blume, Clarence Carter, Philip Evergood, John Ferren, Otis Kaye, Jacob Lawrence, Horace Pippin, Zoltan Sepeshy, Ben Shahn, Charles Green Shaw, Charles Sheeler, Robert Vickrey, James W. Washington Jr., and Max Weber.

Photographers represented include: Berenice Abbott, Kristoffer Albrecht, Manuel Alvarez Bravo, Lillian Bassman, Ruth Bernhard, Edouard Boubat, Paul Caponigro, Henri Cartier-Bresson, Jeffrey Conley, Ralston Crawford, Bruce Davidson, Charles Harbutt, Horst P.
