Pacific Galleries Auction House in Seattle, Washington, is hosting an Asian auction session to be held May 16 starting at 5:30 p.m. PST. This session includes works by noted Chinese master artists, including Xu Beihong (1895-1953), Qi Baishi (aka Qi Huang and Qi Weiging, 1864-1957), Liang Guan (1899-1986), Wu Guanzhong (1919-2010) and Xie Zhiliu (1910-1997). The auction also includes numerous lots of carved ivory and jade, temple deities and architectual elements, porcelain and cloisonne enamel items. View the catalog and photos at www.pacgal.com. Preview is Friday May 13 from noon to 5 p.m. PST and Saturday May 14 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST.
