The International Show, October 23-29, 2015, Park Avenue Armory, NYC.

Anna and Brian Haughton, the London-based art and antiques fair organizers, have announced plans for The International Fine Art & Antiques Show, which is now simply called, "The International Show." With this official name change, the Fair has debuted a new logo and look for its marketing campaign.  Anna Haughton comments, "For many years, the Fair has been affectionately called "The International Show" by exhibitors, dealers and collectors, so we decided that an official name change was in order. We have also added, "Art, Antiques and Design" to cover the three major categories represented at the fair. 20th century/Contemporary Design/Works of Art, now a fully ensconced collecting area at the fair, is represented by exceptional specialist dealers. Our updated graphics are an extension of this new chapter for the fair."

Sixty-seven of the world’s top dealers – many of them founding exhibitors – will converge on the Park Avenue Armory, October 23-29, 2015 for the breathtaking event that collectors, connoisseurs, interior designers and art lovers anticipate all year long.   Founded in 1989, the fair was New York's first vetted event and remains one of the world's most prestigious and influential art and antique events in the world.

This glamorous and carefully-curated show brings together works of art that span continents and millennia -- among them many of museum quality. Furniture, paintings, sculpture, textiles, ceramics, glass, clocks, watches, arms, armour, rare books, manuscripts, jewelry, objets de vertu, Fabergé, silver, antiquities and ethnographic art, are among the many different categories exhibited and for sale.   Prices start from as little as a few hundred dollars but rise into the millions.

The International Circle Young Collectors

Inaugural Party, October 27th
As an expansion of the relationships cultivated over the years with some of New York's most prominent cultural institutions, the fair is launching a new initiative for young collectors and patrons as well as the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Fellows. The International Circle will hold its inaugural party on Tuesday evening, October 27th from 6 to 8 PM at The International Show and will include special VIP Highlight tours of the fair and will offer opportunity to meet the fair's specialist dealers. Proceeds from the evening will benefit The Department of Pediatric Cancer Research at the Society of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
