Clarke Gallery to Exhibit Recently Discovered Painting By Dennis Miller Bunker

Clarke Gallery of Newburyport, Mass., will be exhibiting at the 15th Annual exhibition of the Boston International Fine Arts Show, taking place November 17-20, 2011, at The Boston Center for The Arts, 539 Tremont Street, Boston (Cyclorama).
Paintings that should be of interest to Boston art collectors include a Gloucester coastal landscape by Mary Blood Mellen, who painted with Fitz Henry Lane; a North Woodstock landscape from 1886 by Dennis Miller Bunker, whose friendship with John Singer Sargent is well documented; and an interior genre painting by Frederick Bosley, a leading artist from the Boston Impressionist School.
Also on exhibit with the Clarke Gallery will be an interior still life painting of roses by Abbott Fuller Graves. A partial lists of other artists in the exhibition include Emil Carlsen, Wilson Irvine, Sanford Robinson Gifford, John Whorf, Jane Peterson, William H. Johnson, Harrison Bird Brown, and John McCoy.
