With the exhibition "Space and Colour" Galerie 100 Kubik presents a new facet of the artist Carlos Albert: his colour sculptures. If until now his works showed the natural surface of iron, cut steel or stainless steel, for some time now, the artist has been experimenting with the expressiveness of colour, making some large format works. Now he presents us, in this exhibition, his most recent sculptures in all their usual formats.

The colour not only gives another appearance to the works, but also gives them a different character because the emotional impact causes new sensations, which is now joined to the form. It is interesting to see the visual effects of the forms and how the sensations associated with the volume and weight of the work change with each of the colours. His choice is to go for bright colours that work well with the natural environment and apply them in a monochrome way on the piece.

The process of fixing the colour is by electroplating, that is, the material iron or steel, besides having a layer of colour fixed through an electrolyte bath, is completely protected against corrosion, which allows the sculptures to be placed both indoors and outdoors.

Carlos Albert's career continues to rise in terms of major exhibitions and collections that include his work, as well as in the placement of monumental works in public spaces. The artist continues to evolve in new directions, without ever repeating himself and providing interesting insights at each stage. This keeps him always in the artistic present time as an interesting and growing value.

In 2013 the gallery held his first individual exhibition in Germany.
