Findlay Galleries is pleased to announce its exclusive representation of British Abstract artist Ptomley Mann in the USA and celebrate its recent partnership with an exhibition of the artist’s works on view at Findlay Galleries, Palm Beach.

Mann graduated from her formal artistic studies at Central Saint Martins and the Royal College of Art. Since 1992, she has been creating architectural and chromatic wall-based artworks for private, public, and corporate clients using her signature hand-dyed and woven technique. She also creates large-scale acrylic and gouache paintings on Arches paper and canvas; Mann states, “In complete contrast to the exquisite slowness of the woven artworks, these paintings are punches of spontaneous, emotional color.”

Her time-consuming and unique approach to creating these works has evolved in the past twenty years. Exquisite dynamics of color move across their fine surface, creating a painterly sweep. The term “chromatic minimalism” has been applied to her work, and she is heavily influenced by Abstract Expressionism and architecture. Mann expresses a deep sense of craftsmanship and precision through an abstract narrative.

Visit Findlay Galleries, Palm Beach, to view Ptomely Mann’s unique and stunning oeuvre, which exhibits a complimenting synergy, marrying the beauties of textural and tonal variance from muted gradations to fluorescent color fields.
