MME Fine Art’s exhibition, “Kindred Spirits” opens September 21 and runs through October 20, 2011, and features the stunning work of the gifted contemporary artist, Nicora Gangi.
Approximately 24 paintings will be on view and for sale at MME Fine Art’s sun-drenched duplex on New York City’s Upper East Side. These exquisite, luminous paintings are a perfect fit for MME which specializes in the finest 19th and early 20th century American paintings, but is expanding its reach with this exhibition.
Gangi’s breathtaking and contemplative works of art are infused with an evocative light quality which is reminiscent of the classic, romantic paintings by the masterful Hudson River School artists of the 19th century who inspired her majestic vision.
“My aim as an artist is to use the eyes of my heart to penetrate this concrete world and to fill the viewer with awe by rendering the sublime”. - Nicora Gangi
