For the 30th year, Jackson, Wyo., will host the annual Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival, mixing visual, contemporary, culinary, Western, landscape, wildlife and Native American arts, September 3 – 14, 2014. The event has evolved as Jackson Hole artists and galleries have proliferated, boosting the mountain town’s reputation as a national arts destination.

The 10-day event has added more than 50 family-friendly activities – many of them free – as well as the Taste of the Tetons, sampling creations by the valley’s top chefs. The art of home design is also celebrated: the Showcase of Homes tours exclusive private residences and the Historic Ranch Tour provides a peek at the real cowboy life.

More returning events include the Western Design Conference exhibit and sale of Western-inspired decorative arts and fashion, September 4-7; the free Palates & Palettes gallery walk September 5; the Wild 100 Artist Party and Show & Sale at the National Museum of Wildlife Art, September 11 and 12; and the crowd-favorite QuickDraw in Town Square on September 13.

The town of Jackson is conveniently located 20 minutes away from the Jackson Hole airport served by major airlines.
