The final auction of Jeffrey S. Evans & Associates’ 2014 schedule includes a fun array of Studio and Victorian Glass, and Lady’s Accoutrements. Many of the items included in the auction will make perfect gifts, including a group of contemporary paperweights by Rick Ayotte; Bob and Ray Banford; Chris Buzzini; Jim Donofrio; Charles Kaziun, Victor Trabucco and Debbie Tarsitano. Stellar factories such as Saint Louis and Baccarat are also represented.
The studio glass by contemporary artists includes selections from Mark Peiser; Jack Schmidt; Lundberg Studios; as well as a selection of works from Lalique; Pairpoint and Steuben. The Victorian glass being offered includes works from Mt. Washington; Phoenix; Burmese; Amberina, etc.
For the collector of sewing accoutrements, there is a wide array of thimbles; buttons, including ceramic and glass examples; sewing tables; and the darner collection of Wayne Muller, the author of “Darn It! The History and Romance of Darners,” as well as hat pins, dresser boxes and similar items.
