On February 19, 2013, Mastart will host its winter Impressionist and Modern Art Auction at the Hilton Hotel in Tel Aviv, with preview and sales available in our New York, Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and Paris galleries. The Impressionist and Modern Art sale features exceptional works including Eugene Louis Boudin’s Le Rivage a Plougastel, 1870; Raoul Dufy’s Arbre a Taormina, 1922-23; and Marc Chagall’s Bouquet de nuit, 1973.

Each of these works represents a distinct moment within international art history and showcases the unique tensions within the evolving paradigm of modern art. Matsart’s focus on nineteenth and twentieth-century masters, situates the emergence of Israeli and Jewish artists within the broader context of international artistic trends such as expressionism, fauvism, cubism, and abstraction.

Matsart is the only Israeli auction house to hold auctions dedicated to Israeli and Modern and Contemporary art siultaneously in four strategic locations: New York, Paris, Tel Aviv, and Jerusalem. The
result of a merger between the Israeli auction house Matsa for Public Auctions and the Jerusalem based
