The American Art Fair Celebrates Its 6th Year

The American Art Fair celebrates its sixth year from December 2-5, 2013 at the Bohemian National Hall, 321 East 73rd Street, New York City. The gala preview on Sunday, December 1 marks the beginning of American Paintings week in New York. Inaugurated in 2008, The American Art Fair is the now the only one that focuses on American 19th and 20th century works and features hundreds of landscapes, portraits, still lifes, studies, and sculpture exhibited by 17 premier specialists.

Participants include Adelson Galleries, Alexander Gallery, Avery Galleries, Babcock Galleries, Conner Rosenkranz, Debra Force Fine Art, Gerald Peters Gallery, Godel & Co. Fine Art, Hirschl & Adler Galleries, John H. Surovek Gallery, Jonathan Boos, Menconi & Schoelkopf, Meredith Ward Fine Art, Questroyal Fine Art and Thomas Colville Fine Art; and new in the Fair’s 6th edition is Tom Veilleux Gallery.

The Fair will coincide with American Paintings Week and special lectures will be given by premier American art specialists with additional details to be announced.

Admission to the Gala Preview is by invitation; admission to the lectures and from December 2-5 is complimentary. Fair hours are 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. daily, and to 8 p.m. on Monday, December 2.  For details, please visit www.TheAmericanArtFair.com.
