New York's Alexander Gallery has moved and opened an interim exhibition space off Madison Avenue at 34 East 68th Street.

The Alexander Gallery has moved, after almost forty years on Madison Avenue.  The executive office is now located at 115 East 72nd Street near Park Avenue and the interim exhibition space is off Madison Avenue at 34 East 68th Street.

Plans to move to another Madison Avenue gallery were temporarily put on hold due to lease complications.  With no intentions of leaving the immediate neighborhood and with show season in full swing (participating in the gallery’s own fair, The American Art Fair, the Winter Antiques Show and the Palm Beach International Fine Art Fair),  the gallery focused on locating both a private executive office and an interim exhibition space within a few blocks from each other.

An open house is planned at the exhibition space (still under construction) on Wednesday, April 27th from 5-8 pm.  A spring party will be held late in May during American Paintings week.  Please contact the gallery for further details or invitations (212) 472-1636 or somers@alexandergallery.com.
