International art dealers Waterhouse & Dodd are pleased to announce the opening of their new gallery at 960 Madison Avenue, between 75th and 76th Streets. The prominent second floor space, located one block away from what will become The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s contemporary annex (formerly the Whitney Museum), boasts a beautiful, open exhibition space with 26 feet of windows looking onto Madison Avenue.

Ray Waterhouse, co-owner of the business that he started with Jonathan Dodd in 1987, says “Our new gallery will feature the distinctive Waterhouse & Dodd blend of Impressionist, Modern and Post-War art, with a few select Contemporary artists, as always. We will be retaining our private gallery just 100 yards away at 15 East 76th Street, which we use for client meetings and special viewings.”

Reigl, Outburst, from Waterhouse & Dodd.

Stefany Sekara Morris, the gallery’s recently appointed Director, adds that “We are proud to present in our inaugural exhibition several important works by Renoir, Loiseau, Vlaminck, Picasso, a stunning expressionist painting by Judit Reigl, and Contemporary works by Damien Hirst and Tom Wesselmann. We are also delighted to introduce our re-designed website at www.waterhousedodd.com.”
