During the months of April and May, the Association will be presenting lectures every other Thursday. Next, on April 30, Zufar Bikbov will speak about how he creates his vibrant still lifes and landscapes. On May 14, Harley Bartlett will lecture on creating liturgical murals – a combination of trompe l’oeil and religious subject that has ancient roots and contemporary application. Finally, on May 28, renowned bird artist Michael DiGiorgio will speak on studying and painting birds.
Lectures are open to the public and will begin at 7pm, preceded by a half-hour wine and cheese reception. Free for members, $5 for nonmembers. Parking is free and the venue is handicap accessible.
