Henri Joseph Harpignies

Dario Morales
Colombian artist Dario Morales devoted much of his career to depictions of female nudes, often within everyday settings. From 1977, Woman Taking Her Bath is very much representative of Morales’ subjects, with a great deal of precise detail within the bathroom setting itself. Lot 1101

Eduardo Sivori
One of Argentina’s most prominent painters of the late 19th Century, Eduardo Sivori was part of the Symbolist movement which emanated from Europe. Paisaje is a bright, miniature landscape by Sivori, with deep blues and greens. Lot 1022

James Suzuki
From 1961, Murakabi is one of two paintings by James Suzuki featured in the sale. The Japanese artist arrived in America at just nineteen, and went on to create bold, expressive abstract works, taking cues from Clyfford Still and Mark Rothko. Lot 1087

George LK Morris
