Myers Contemporary Returns to Miami Arts Week in Premiere Position

With positive reviews, strong collector interest, and an elegant and tailored setting, the popular Myers Contemporary will be in the prime spot at the Red Dot Fair at Miami Arts Week. Myers Contemporary will be showcasing an eclectic mix of returning and new artists at the entrance to Red Dot, adjacent to the entries of the Art Miami and Scope shows. Myers Contemporary is returning to Miami Arts Week at the Red Dot Fair for the third year in a row.
With more coordinated locations and schedules for Red Dot Fair Miami, Scope and Art Miami, Myers Contemporary anticipates being able to introduce its artists to more of the tens of thousands of collectors and critics that congregate in Miami for one of the most important gatherings in the international contemporary art world. Red Dot Fair Miami, Scope and Art Miami will run from December 1 - 5, 2010 in the Wynwood Art District, with opening receptions on November 30th.
Myers will be introducing its fascinating and richly diverse featured artists for Miami Arts Week over the next few weeks. The Myers artists being featured in Miami Arts Week share an ability to use media in new and intellectually compelling ways that prompts the viewer to participate more actively in the artistic experience.

Myers seeks finely finished works with content, avoiding the ephemeral in favor of long term relevance and value. In addition to working with private collectors, Myers recently worked with Legg Mason on a Caio Fonseca large scale commission piece for their new headquarters in Baltimore, MD.
