Clarke Gallery, located in Newburyport, MA. is pleased to announce the exhibition of recent works by Karin White at the Red Dot Art Fair, Miami FLA., opening Dec. 2 and running through December 7.  Karin paints and resides in Boston.  She attended the DeCordova Museum School, Lincoln, MA, University of New Hampshire and graduated from University of MA. Her art lineage is superb, having studied with Timothy Harney,  who in turn studied with John Grillo, who studied with Hans Hoffmann.   She was included in the landmark exhibition at Saint Anselm College in which she had the privilege of having her works exhibited side by side with those of Grillo, Hoffmann and Harney.  Karin’s works can be viewed online at www.clarkegalley.com and www.karinwhiteart.com. Recent works include oils, watercolors and collage.  Works by Ms. White are included in the collections of Bank of Canada, Bank of America, Fidelity Investments, Rockport Partners and Peabody Energy Corporation and numerous private collections.   Clarke Gallery will also be showing works by Keith Hamilton.  Hamilton uses photography to explore the universe through surrealistic glasses. His works are usually large in format, colorful and representationally strong.  Keith’s images draw on mysticism and dream sequences to explore modern society. His images are powerful.  Works by Hamilton are in the collections of Portland Museum of Art, Portland, Me,  Wood Museum-Library, Park Ridge, IL, Hunter Museum of Art, Chattanooga, TN and the MBNA Collection, Wilmington, DE.   The gallery will also include original works by Alexander Calder, Richard Pousette-Dart, John Grillo, John Hare, Sam Gilliam and Raymond Parker.
