New York City Rare Book and Ephemera Fair
The New York City Rare Book and Ephemera Fair holds its inaugural running on Saturday, April 11th, during Rare Book Week, at Wallace Hall on Park Avenue. Hours: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Free shuttle bus to the ABAA fair till 12:15. The fair hosts more than 50 dealers. It promises items for both seasoned collectors and new audiences, with books and ephemera ranging from a 12th century lectionary to a 20th century Grateful Dead poster. Collectors will find volumes by authors deceased and living, first editions, and books on subjects from abstraction to zoology. Ephemera collectors will find unique items, mostly printed, that were not meant to survive but did. The fair is designed as an affordable complement to the ABAA Antiquarian Book Fair.
