Red Dot Fair, Miami
The Susan Teller Gallery is participating in the Red Dot Fair, during Art Basel Week, Miami. Featured are Williams Baziotes surrealist drawings, 1936-39, and paintings from 1943-45. There are new paintings and drawings by Peggy Bacon and Isabel Bishop as well as a 1919 painted portrait of Bacon by her fellow Art Students League student and husband, Alexander Brook. The reverse notes it was made in the class of Kenneth Hayes Miller. Three large paintings from Hugh Mesibov's Wartime Shipyard Series, 1943-44, will be on view along with works by Will Barnet, Peter Grippe, Angelo Pinto, Bernard Rosenquit, Anne Ryan, and Mary Sinclair.
