The Garden Sculpture and Antiques Fair: 1750-2013 Preview Party and Collectors’ Plant Sale, previously the Antique Garden Furniture Show, will kick off the spring season at The New York Botanical Garden on Thursday, April 25, 2013. This exclusive preview event will take place in the Conservatory Tent, adjacent to the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory and is anticipated to attract over 500 guests from the philanthropic, interior and landscape design, architecture and art worlds. Preview attendees will enjoy a silent auction of one-of-a-kind plants, garden décor, jewelry and other select items while enjoying cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. The Preview Party on April 25 is the opening celebration to a weekend-long Fair which runs from Friday, April 26 through Sunday, April 28. The Preview Party is underwritten in part by Adam R. Rose and Peter R. McQuillan with additional support from Mish New York and Mr. and Mrs. Coleman P. Burke. The evening is sponsored by 1stdibs.
