50th Annual Delaware Antiques Show

Join us in heralding the 50th anniversary of the acclaimed Delaware Antiques Show November 8 - 10, 2013, at the Chase Center on the Riverfront in Wilmington, Delaware. Ranked among the top five antiques shows in the United States, it will feature more than 60 of the finest dealers from across the country and beyond. Internationally acclaimed interior designer and author Lady Henrietta Spencer-Churchill is this year's keynote speaker and is serving as honorary chair with Delaware Governor Jack Markell and First Lady Carla Markell. Lady Henrietta will share stories of her legendary home, Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Winston Churchill, Friday, November 8, at 10:00 am. A book signing will follow. Expert gardener and author Barbara Paul Robinson will delight lovers of English gardens with her lecture on the colorful life of garden legend Rosemary Verey and her contributions to the field of landscape design. Robinson’s lecture will take place Sunday, November 10, at 2:00 pm. Robinson's lecture will be followed by a book signing. The inaugural Wendell D. Garrett Award will be presented Saturday, November 9 at 6:00 pm. The award was established to honor one of Winterthur’s most illustrious alumni by recognizing achievements in melding decorative arts and history with originality and eloquence.
