African American Art in Private Collections and U.S. Museums
Lecture presented by David Driskell, PhD, art historian and author. Dr. Driskell, in addition to being a distinguished scholar and published author on the subject of art history, is an avid collector of art. In this lecture, he will discuss his contributions to various art collections, including the Camille and Bill Cosby collection and the David C. Driskell Center in College Park, Maryland. This lecture is a collaboration with the Des Lee Professorship in Art Education at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Lecture begins promptly at 7:00 PM. Reservations recommended.
