Waterhouse & Dodd is pleased to present an exhibition of works on paper by acclaimed American artist Sol LeWitt (1923 - 2007), including gouaches never before exhibited in public, as well as an array of silkscreens, etchings and woodblock prints. Heralded as the pioneer of conceptual and minimal art, Sol LeWitt has been the subject of retrospectives at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Tate Gallery, London, and the San Francisco Museum of Art, among others. His work is currently featured in solo shows at the Museum Leuven in Belgium, at the Centre Pompidou-Metz in France and at MASS MoCA (Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art).
