A benefit for the Nantucket Historical Association, this show is a centerpiece for a week of social events, lectures, and activities. One of the most highly regarded antiques shows on the East Coast, attracting collectors and enthusiasts to the forty-four distinguished exhibitors who present American and European art and antique furniture, accessories, nautical items, garden and architectural ornament, and folk art. Shown here is an item from the concurrent August Antiques Show Auction, this exquisite embroidered narrative is by needlework artist Susan Boardman who is featured in the 2010 Nantucket Historical Association’s major exhibition.
