COME AS YOU ART BALL
WHO: The Appraisers Association of America (AAA), the premier national association of fine and decorative arts appraisers which includes former museum curators, auction house leaders, The Antiques Roadshow contributors, and renowned art dealers. Additional guests include Norwood members, art professionals, Young Patrons of American Friends of the Louvre and well known artists. The event is chaired by Nancy Harrison (AAA President) and Alasdair Nichol (First Vice President). Sponsors include: FREEMAN’S, ARIS Title Insurance, ASPEN, The Greene Organization and Norwood. WHAT: This major “fun”draising event is titled "Come as you art." Guests are asked to dress as their favorite work of art or artist. In addition to the fancy dress ball, there will be an open bar, festive food, fortune tellers, performers, film, dancing, a live auction, and prizes for the best costumes. As guests move through the party, they will be immersed in art, as floors are decorated and inspired by Andy Warhol’s “The Factory”, the Weimar Republic, Folies Bergére and John Singer Sargent.
