American Craft Exposition
Showcasing the country’s finest craftspeople, this nationally renowned, juried indoor exposition and sale of fine craft includes one-of-a-kind pieces, quality collections and uniquely creative artwork. More than 160 juried craftspeople from across the United States exhibit baskets, ceramics, fiber decorative, fiber wearable, furniture, glass, jewelry, leather, metal, mixed media, paper and wood crafts. Funds raised at ACE 2012 will support pioneering research at NorthShore University HealthSystem that is already showing promising results in preventing ovarian cancer in at-risk women. Ovarian cancer is often called the “silent” killer because symptoms are easy to dismiss and the disease is often diagnosed too late for effective treatment.
