Forging a National Identity features a selection of over thirty 19th century paintings by prominent American artists. The exhibition highlights gems from the collection of Matthew and Helen Mickiewicz, including works by James Buttersworth, Jasper Cropsey, Worthington Whittredge, Alfred T. Bricher, Robert S. Dunning, Edward C. Leavitt, Xanthus and Russell Smith, and Aaron D. Shattuck. The show will be viewable online and in the gallery May 19th - June 30th, 2012. _
