Artist Plans to Park Truck/Art Exhibition Near Dallas Art Fair
Truck/Art, a mobile contemporary art gallery based in Bentonville, AR, will be traveling to the Dallas Art Fair on April 7th to premier a new exhibition, Structural Resistance: Ba’aller Abstraction. This will be the second exhibition for the gallery, which is housed in a converted potato chip delivery truck. The first show coincided with the State of the Art exhibition at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville. The three pieces featured in that show are now in collections in Arkansas, New York, and Texas. Truck/Art will be positioned close to the proceedings at the Dallas Art Fair in order to present the exhibit to seasoned art collectors and critics as well as a wider general audience. The independent, freewheeling participation of the gallery outside the fair will serve as a catalyst for dialogue concerning innovation and approach in contemporary art and allow collectors to see the work of artist Louis Watts. Truck/Art gallery will send updates on its whereabouts during the Dallas Art Fair via twitter @LWattsStudio
