The World of Gloria Vanderbilt: Collages, Dream Boxes, and Recent Paintings
The World of Gloria Vanderbilt: Collages, Dream Boxes, and Recent Paintings will feature over 50 works by Vanderbilt including never-before-seen oil paintings, acrylics, watercolors, collages and mixed media, primarily from 2006 to the present. These new works will be accompanied by a curated selection of pieces from Ms. Vanderbilt's private collection, many dating back to the 1950’s. The show, her first in New York City since 2006, will offer new works for sale, among them stunning portraits of such luminaries as writer Joyce Carol Oates, author Amy Hempel, and actresses Aurelia Thierrée and Angelina Jolie, in Vanderbilt’s signature, dreamy style.
