Philadelphia Antiques Show
Founded in 1962, The Philadelphia Antiques Show is one of the longest running antiques shows in the country. In 2011, the Show celebrates its 50th year and continues to be recognized as the finest and most prestigious Show in the United States, proudly offering diverse furnishings and decorative arts for the period and modern American home. A distinguishing feature of the Show is its abundant offering of Americana, encompassing furniture, fine art and folk art, including objects such as weathervanes, painted furniture, textiles, and exquisite carved objects. In addition, the Show also showcases English and Continental antiques, as well as Chinese porcelain and works of art. Preview party is April 8. In recognition of its 50th year, the theme of the 2011 Philadelphia Antiques Show Loan Exhibit is titled "Celebrations… Antiques that Mark the Moment."
