Clars Auction Gallery, one of the largest auction houses on the west coast, is conducting one of the most extensive auctions it its history. This sale will feature original works by Maynard Dixon, Ansel Adams, Will Sparks, James Weeks, Gordon Onslow Ford, Percy Grey and Thaddeus Welch, among others. Also included is a stunning collection of American and Continental furniture such as a Charles II walnut inlaid chest, a George II walnut veneered chest on chest, circa 1760 and a brass inlaid mahogany Regency breakfast table, circa 1852. Other notable items are an impressive gold quartz presentation walking stick dated 1856, a Meissen figural porcelain depicting Neptune, a Dale Chihuly art glass basket and a 14’ x 9’9” Persian Kermanshah carpet. In addition to Fine Jewelry highlighted by a 9ct. diamond solitaire ring, the sale will also feature a large collection of Asian Art & Antiques.
