(PARIS) Online access to an international database of stolen art works has been established, fighting against the illicit traffic of stolen art work and cultural property, global police agency Interpol said on Monday. Access will be open to law enforcement agencies, governments, museums, auction houses, art galleries, foundations and collectors, "who first have to apply for access to the database, which features the latest information on some 34,000 works of art stolen worldwide," said the Lyon-based agency.
