Stanford University's Cantor Arts Center has mounted an enlightening exhibition that delves into the connection between imperial Chinese art and Western-influenced avant-garde works. On view are 110 images by Wu Changshuo, Zhu Wenyun, Pan Tianshou, Qi Baishi, and Huang Binhong.
