A Rembrandt drawing was stolen from an exhibit at the Ritz-Carlton in Marina del Rey, Calif., on Saturday night, according to Los Angeles County sheriff's investigators.
Hotel surveillance video shows that a man possibly worked with a accomplice who distracted the curator. The piece was on view in the hotel lobby when it was taken between 10:20 and 10:35 p.m.
The pen-and-ink drawing, approximately 11-by-6 inches, is titled "The Judgment" and is valued at upwards of $250,000. It belongs to the Linearis Institute in Northern California.
