Executive director of New York City's prestigious Winter Antiques Show, Catherine Sweeney Singer has been named Director of the Philadelphia Antiques Show.

Now in its 52nd year, the Philadelphia show has gone through leadership changes and lost prominent exhibitors recently. Singer will lead the show into a new stage of development.

“The Philadelphia show is important to Philadelphia, to the dealers, and the industry, and many of us, afraid it was doomed, now see it gaining new life,” said Patrick Bell of Olde Hope Antiques to Maine Antiques Digest.
