Van Gogh Replicas to Debut at the LA Art Show

Limited edition replicas of Vincent van Gogh's masterpieces will debut in the U.S. at the LA Art Show in January.
“Reliefographs,” a new product that reportedly replicates the original art's textures and brushwork, have been made of five works from the collection of the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam.
Fujifilm Belgium developed the reproduction process with the museum. The cost is about $35,000 per replica. The initial offerings are collectively called the Van Gogh Museum Edition and include: Almond Blossoms (1890), Boulevard de Clichy (1887), The Harvest (1888), Sunflowers (1889) and Wheatfield under Thunderclouds (1890).
The edition will go on view at the 19th Annual LA Art Show at the Los Angeles Convention Center, January 15-19, 2014, at Tribute International’s booths (numbers 104 through 207).
