Sotheby's Partners with eBay in Online Auctions

Starting in the fall, some of Sotheby's New York auctions will be broadcast live in a special section of eBay's website. 

Sotheby's says it has about 100,000 clients while eBay has 145 million customers. "Even if we only reach point one percent of eBay users, that's huge for us," said Bruno Vinciguerra, Sotheby's chief operating officer.
