Possible World's Biggest Shoe Walks Onto 'Antiques Roadshow'

A really big shoe once belonging to Robert Wardlaw, the Midwesterner known as the tallest man ever recorded, was brought into a PBS "Antiques Roadshow" taping. The guest in Knoxville, Tenn., said the custom-made size 35 shoe was given to his grandfather in 1934.
A celebrity in 1930s America, Wardlaw stood eight-feet, 11.1 inches at the time of his death in 1940 at age 22. He was reportedly still growing taller before he died of an infection.
Appraiser Deborah Miller, in 2013, said the collectible shoe could be valued at $1,500-$2,500.
