Saatchi Battles His Former Gallery Director in Court

Charles Saatchi is embroiled in a bitter legal battle with his former gallery director accusing her of trading on his name. Rebecca Wilson had worked closely with him as his director for several years at the Saatchi Gallery in London. But following Wilson's move to run Saatchi Online in the US, the pair have since fallen out over an insignificant £10,000 sponsorship fee for an art exhibition, reports the Guardian.
The row has led Mr Saatchi to take her to the High Court to seek 30 times the amount in damages. He claims, among other accusations, that the sponsor's funds should have been paid to Saatchi's parent company as opposed to directly to Saatchi Online.
