Interior of The Joseph, a new art boutique hotel in Columbus, Ohio.

Renowned art collector Ron Pizzuti is behind a new luxury-boutique art hotel opening in Columbus, Ohio. The hotel features art from Pizzuti's private collection along with local and world-class contemporary art from emerging artists.

Partnering with upscale, design-focused international hotel brand Le Méridien, The Joseph features artwork from KAWS, Rob Winne, and Fred Wilson, along with one-of-a-kind wallpaper by artist Almond Zigmund. Upon entering the lobby, guests of the hotel are greeted with Italian marble floors, hand-carved wood ceilings and a marble staircase leading to an open space art gallery on the second floor.

Each element of The Joseph has been meticulously and thoughtfully designed to bring rich art history, local artisans and world emerging artists together for a truly unique boutique experience that remains unique to Columbus, Ohio.

Ron Pizzuti, and his wife Ann, opened the Pizzuti Collection exhibition space in Columbus in 2013. The historic, renovated space has hosted exhibitions of Cuban artists, Brazilian designers the Campana Brothers, and  Abstraction Today (through June 20, 2015).
