$1 Million Reward Offered for Return of Ruby Slippers Stolen From Museum

Dorothy's ruby slippers went missing from a Minnesota museum ten years ago. A "Wizard of Oz" film buff is now offering a $1 million reward for credible information leading to the return of the iconic shoes to the Judy Garland Museum in Grand Rapids, the hometown of the actress.
The anonymous donor from Arizona has a stipulation: the name(s) of the thieves must be revealed. There has been an ongoing police investigation since the slippers were on loan to the museum and stolen from display in 2005.
Three other ruby slippers worn by Judy Garland are in the Smithsonian Institution, headed to a new Los Angeles museum and in a private collection.
