Exhibitions Without Walls for Photographers and Digital Artists (EWW)  is pleased to announce that “Cows Go” by Daniel Johnson (Petaluma, CA) has been chosen by the jurors to receive the Best In Competition award for ANYTHING GOES, and online-juried competition and exhibition for photographers and digital artists.  This online exhibitions can be viewed by goinbg to http://www.exhibiitonswithoutwalls.com/anything/

Johnson comments “I have turned from the world of traditional media to the digital realm. For me, computer hardware and software is a tool, just like a pencil, brush, or pen. Art and illustration does not happen at the instrument held in the hand; it comes from within. For me, it’s about observation of the world around me. highlight, shadow, reflection, displacement, surface texture, transparency, and contrast are what I notice and what I attempt to depict in digital imagery.

Johnson has been acknowledged by both his clients and others.  These acknowledgements have included Designer Spotlight, Layers Magazine and Guru Ward Winner in Illustration, Photoshop World. 

The other two winning finalist are 2nd place Lisa Rhodes for “Walking The Dog” (NSW, Australia) and 3rd place CE Morse for “Noberron 83” (Maine, USA).”   

In addition to the three top finalists, honorable mentions have been awarded to Roseann Caputo (Massachusetts, USA), Kenneth Kaplowitz (New Jersey, USA), Guy Belair (Quebec, Canada), Jamie Link (Illinois, USA), Melvin Harris (Vermont, USA) and CE Morse (Maine, USA). Submissions were received 119 photographers and digital artists and 114 other countries and 39 states.  .
