Gallery spokesperson and second generation owner Peter R Kiernan explains the move from Salem where founder Russell Kiernan started the gallery in 1968 was motivated by the selling of the gallery building to the Peabody Essex Museum but to stay in the North Shore area and to only offer the very best in marine and other fine art that they are so well know to stock. The new gallery is located at 26 Atlantic Avenue in Marblehead near historic Abbott Hall and the SPIRT Of 76 By Archibald Willard as well wonderful shopping ,dinning and charming Inns to enjoy this charming New England town.
