The Curator’s Eye (http://www.CuratorsEye.com/), a global high-end art marketing organization, announced today the formation of its Chicago gallery management division, directed by Gregory Gaymont. Mr. Gaymont is responsible for the Midwest region, managing sales and marketing and cultivating the dealer network.
Mr. Gaymont has spent the last thirty years in the commercial and fine art world. A commercial and fine art photographer, his work has been published and exhibited on three continents. Most recently, he owned his own gallery in Chicago, which exhibited artists from North and South America, Europe, and Asia. A lifetime collector of works on paper, antiques, and objects, he knows the art world from both the side of the collector and the gallerist. Mr. Gaymont has traveled extensively throughout Europe, North, Central, and South America to experience the art, culture, and history. He has a degree from the University of Illinois in Italian Renaissance History and Art History.
Of Mr. Gaymont, The Curator’s Eye founder and CEO Sarah Hollenbeck Valelly says, “We’re excited to have someone with Gregg’s broad art world experience onboard. As we expand throughout the US and globally, we rely on the personal and professional relationships of our ever-growing gallery management teams.”
