About the Artist
American contemporary artist and photographer, Tina Louise Lambert uses her own acrylic pouring techniques to create one-of-a-kind pieces that each tell their own story using a variety of colors, hues and tones. Starting with a blank canvas and or wood substrate she applies a fresh coat of gesso, she begins mixing her paints ‒ always an odd number of colors to strike the right balance for each piece. Using a tilt table, movements, and manipulation, she then distorts the flow of the paint to create patterns and textures that will emerge after she heats up the final painting. This gets rid of the air bubbles before drying. Finishing with a resin or varnished overcoat, her work is ready to be hung as a “one-of-a-kind art piece. Inspired by her love of life, being able to create for and give to others brings Lambert genuine joy.
Lambert lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico with her family. She works for their construction company as an interior designer and runs her own art studio, producing her paintings as wearable art pieces. She graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Bachelor of Science in marketing and business management.
