Red Dot Miami is a highly successful art fair taking place concurrent with Art Basel Miami Beach. Up to 80 national and international dealers exhibit contemporary and secondary market photography, painting, sculpture and works on paper in a luxurious 50,000 square foot venue. Focused on a boutique art fair for galleries specializing in emerging, mid- career and established artists, RED DOT presents values beyond current trends. Located across the street from other high caliber art fairs such as Art Miami, Scope and Art Asia in Miami's Wynwood Art District, RED DOT holds a prime location. The luxurious layout of the tented venue provides visitors with a sophisticated and friendly environment.
A lifelong fascination with painting, its colors and meaning is typical for the the work of Eva Hoppert. Born in Vienna (Austria), Eva Hoppert studied Fine Arts and Painting at the Art Academy Nürtingen (Germany). About her paintings, that the jury selected to display in Miami, represented by EUART Gallery, Eva Hoppert explains:
“I'm searching for the paradise with a view from my deep inside. Balancing between abstraction and figuration arises of its own dynamic flow. The inspirations are traces and memories of my life, feelings of happiness but also emotive scars, fractures and hopes, vibrations of my soul. Sensory, personality and emotional moments are compressed and converted into my paintings, narrating the stories of my life. My work is to take visual-suggestive. Then the viewer can use his own imagination and life experience and feels reminded of his own past and personal experiences.”
